Emily is an independent consultant with more than fifteen years of professional experience in international social development. She is committed to supporting clients and communities in the identification and management of social risks, impacts and opportunities.

Emily has extensive experience with the mining, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors in West Africa, and in lender and investor due diligence, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring. Her areas of expertise include land acquisition, resettlement, livelihood restoration, stakeholder engagement, social investment, community development, corporate social responsibility, gender and human rights.

Emily currently works with private sector project proponents, investors, and international financial institutions in Canada, Europe and Africa.
